“To know what is right and not do it is the worst cowardice.”
Confucius
To enable the guild to function smoothly, we have an established set of rules. Some are common sense - how to treat people within the guild and without with respect, others are more technical - details of loot rules, notification of absence etc. All are to be abided by.
All members are expected to have read and understood these rules. Any breaches of the rules will be dealt with by the officers and if they determine that action needs to be taken, the nature of this action will be solely at their
discretion.
If any member is concerned about another breaking the rules, they should talk to an officer in private.
Public drama is frowned upon and may itself be in breech of the rules.
General Rules
As a Raider of Ragnarok, the following rules apply to your main character:
You have to be 18 years old.
Your character has be to level 80.
You have to participate
in minimum 2 raids per week.
You have to be registered on our website www.wow-ragnarok.com
You have to read the new threads and posts regularly on the forums.
If you for some
reason have to be absent from the game, you have to make a post on the absentee forum
or by contacting an officer.
If you are absent more than 10 days without notice, you
can expect to be kicked out of the guild. Bear in mind that notice can be a post
on the absentee forum or a /w to an officer.
Changing of main character has to be
approved by the officers.
You need to have following add ons installed:
CT raid assist,
Omen, Teamspeak, Deadly Boss Mods.
Rules That Apply For Official Raids
You can only
sign up for official raids with your main character. Your alt character can be invited
to raids if raid leader (RL) asks you to.
You have to be ready for an invitation
to the raid outside the raid instance 15 min prior to raid start. Invites will go
out at this time and if you miss it you be put last in the queue of the substitutes.
You have to come to raids prepared with flasks/elixirs, potions, food and bandages.
You have to come to raids with 100% durability.
Substitutes will be invited to raids
10 min prior to raid start.
You are NOT allowed to use elixirs, food or anything
else altering your chars appearance (like transmuting you to a pirate, dwarf etc)
Vanity pets are not allowed during fights. Reason for this is that some of our raiders
are struggling with frame rates. And vanity pets will have an influence on that.
If you get disconnections (dc's) or have to log out during raid, you have to post
on the absentee forum or contact an officer as soon as possible to explain the incident.
If you have a troubled connection and DC a lot we will replace you if possible. We
will only wait a limited amount of time if someone DC's
Loot Rules
To speed up progress through content, we will be using Need/Greed Rules backed up by a Loot Council formed of any officers present.
NEED rolls are for main spec upgrades only.
GREED rolls are for off spec upgrades or main spec sidegrades.
If none of the above apply, then you should chose PASS.
DISENCHANT should never be used.
Ninja looting is NOT allowed and will be kick from
guild reason.
Kick From Guild Rules
If a player breaks a rule, or behaves in an improper
way he/she will get a warning. The second warning is equal to kick.
The player is
doing official raids with other guilds, unless this is approved by an officer.
The
player does not raid a minimum 2 times a week, unless the player has announced a
short period of absentee.
The player acts in an improper way in guild-, party-, raid-
or public chat of any kind.
The player does not show team spirit. For instance, wants
money from guildies to gain profit through professions.
The player applies for another
guild while in Ragnarok. This action is likely to lead to instant guild kick.
